Does Your Company’s Parking Lot Look This Good?
The company I work for held their annual employee car show today. I’ve never gone to previous shows, but I decided to go this time with the prodding of co-workers, of course. I’m not exactly a car aficionado, but what the heck. It’s a good excuse to get out of the cubicle and get some fresh air.
The show was held in the parking lot. There were classic cars, exotic cars, and everything in between. There was even a section for motorcycles. The only thing missing were the bikini-clad car show models.
Here’s a few I snapped with my camera phone:

Cadillac LaSalle

Ford Model A

Triumph TR2

MacGyver drove one of these trucks (I think)...

Ford Shelby Cobra

Old-school Corvette

Plymouth Road Runner

Saleen N20 Focus

One patriotic Chevy Corvette.

Saturn Sky Roadster.. nice-looking, but supposedly no match to the Mazda Miata.

Ford GT-40!

The original Budweiser King funny car.

Some custom-built off-roader.

Believe it or not, this VW Microbus was part of the show.

The double headlights made this bike picture-worthy!
There was also music (provided by DJ “Rat Dog”) and free prize drawings. Food was available for purchase, i.e., not free, so I didn’t bother to check it out.
The event doubled as the company’s multi-cultural day. I did not bother about that aspect either. Cars and culture stuff just doesn’t go hand in hand (to me, at least).
Thanks to John G. for identifying most of the cars!
