Craig Bilmeier a.k.a. Hott Lixx Hulahan was crowned the winner of the 2008 Air Guitar World Championships in Oulu, Finland on August 22. He beat 19 other contenders from around the world. He was praised for his “impeccable timing and an overall solid performance that took the audience by storm.” He dethroned two-year reigning air guitar champ Ochi ‘Dainoji’ Yosuke from Japan.

In the NBA, short basketball players are rare. When it comes to recruiting, The taller player gets dibs. [Sidenote: I personally experienced this type of bias back in Junior High while trying out for the team. The coach opted for a 6-foot, no-game glob of clumsiness.]

WikiAnswers says the average height of NBA players is 6′7″. Steve Nash is not exactly tall per NBA standards, but he’s still 6′3″. What if a baller with game, of course, is listed under 6 feet?

A few have defied the odds. They have proven height does not make the player. It’s all skillz and heart, man!
